Dear Adam, I am writing to thank you for welcoming our trainees to your school recently. I am aware that such visits involve a great deal of co-ordination and require staff members to give up time from their already busy schedules. We are extremely grateful for your support in providing our trainees with this important opportunity and for sharing your knowledge and experience. I have been looking at the reflection forms completed by our trainees. The response was overwhelmingly positive, and some trainees have said they would like to work in such a school in the future. I have included just some of the comments specific to your school below which I thought you may like to pass on to your colleagues:

• I have already emailed Adam Dean to thank him for an incredible experience. The staff were incredibly adaptive and calm. I very much enjoyed the day. This was a valuable enrichment visit, we were made to feel very welcome and a varied timetable had been arranged. It was impressive to see how closely the teaching and support staff work together to meet the needs of complex classes.

• I found the whole day so insightful and it was lovely to see the choice and child centred approach that was evident throughout. All of the staff were so friendly, welcoming and accommodating, as were the children, as it must be difficult for them to see a number of new faces and their interaction and behaviour was a testament to the teaching and learning environment created by all the staff. I wish to thank all the staff and children alike for allowing us in to their school and answering all our many questions.

• Staff clearly cared for the students and had positive relationships with all. Very helpful and welcoming to trainees.

• Adam Dean was very welcoming and informative. All staff were lovely and happy to answer any questions that I had. Many thanks once again. I hope you will consider allowing us to visit again next year. Yours sincerely
